Súileir original prints are printed on premium stock acid-free Canson Lustre paper and mounted with Larson Juhl acid-free archival mount board. They are mounted with a bevelled mount and carefully framed with handcrafted solid wood bevelled frames. All our wooden frames use wood sourced from sustainable forests. Many of our prints are digitally signed and embossed with our signature seal.
To keep your print as safe as possible, we use high-quality clear perspex glazing on our shipped framed prints. On our click-and-collect prints, we use 2mm clear float glass. All our unframed prints are sent flat, with bevelled mount, backing board and print sleeve. All framed and unframed prints are wrapped in tissue paper with a branded card and carefully placed in cardboard boxes with our branded stamp and labels, making our prints an ideal gift.
Leo O’Connor is the founder and curator of Súileir. He was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1958 and later joined by a sister in 1960 and a brother in 1965. From an early age Leo’s parents brought the children on frequent trips and holidays throughout Ireland and told them stories of history, folklore, legend and culture. This activity instilled a love and appreciation of all things Irish in Leo, something he still holds very strongly today and consistently demonstrates it through his hikes the length and breath of Ireland. Leo is a very accomplished landscape photographer, a hobby which commenced in his early teens. He was previously Sales and Marketing Manager for Fuji Film Ireland, and today is Managing Director of a successful picture framing business and gallery. Súileir is a direct result of Leo’s love of Ireland and his ambition to share that love throughout the world. He is particularly honoured to be among this community of talented photographers and artists.
